AL Murray was back with a BANG for a second season on Sky HISTORY and this time, his show was the even more controversially titled: Why Do The Brits Win Every War?
I knew we had to do something big and bespoke on TikTok so I utilised the internet’s most powerful weapon: bait.
Using the Pub Landlord, I baited our audience into trying to find a country that Great Britain hadn’t beaten in a war yet. We then had the Pub Landlord reply to comments with his classic bravado and then Al Murray himself explain exactly why the Pub Landlord was wrong.
This idea was based of Al’s incredibly popular stand up set and worked incredibly well as a way around our geoblocked Tiktok account which prevents us from accessing the full UGC options of Stitches and Duets.
These original TikToks delivered over 2 million organic UK views and, in combination with clipped show footage, I delivered 3.5 million - not bad!
